Introducing top 5 night hiking spots in Korea.

As you know, Korea is a very safe country.

Even if many people wander around at night, the probability of encountering a ‘criminal’ is very low.

Therefore, many Koreans enjoy ‘night hiking’. Sometimes a ‘night hike’ doesn’t require a flashlight.

The lights from the city and the moonlight are bright enough. Among the night hiking spots introduced, it would be good to focus on ‘nearby places’ or ‘what you want to see’ to find your preferred spot. Where appropriate for a ‘night hike’, the height is appropriate.

The road is very well done. That’s why it’s possible enough with light exercise clothes. I would love to take my dog for a walk.

1. Night hiking spot in south Korea – Gyeyangsan(395 m)

   Gyeyangsan is one of my favorite mountains, located in Incheon. My home is Incheon, so I climbed Mt. Gyeyang more than 200 times while living there. No need for a separate flashlight. The road is well-marked, so it is not dangerous and there are many people at night. There are many people even in the morning. There are 395 stairs. (maybe more..)
   It is very close to Gyesan Station, a subway station.

2. Night hiking spot in south Korea -Namsan(236.7m)

   This course goes up to Namsan Tower. Namsan Tower is visible from anywhere in Seoul. Namsan is where Namsan Tower is located. When you climb Namsan, you are in the middle of Seoul to the extent that you will fall into the illusion that you have Seoul. You can see all the night view of Seoul. There are steps and hills as well. You can go for a walk comfortably.There are many things to see, such as the Lock of Love and the Namsan Library. Namsan Tower has many convenient facilities such as Starbucks and restrooms.

   

3. Night hiking spot in south Korea -Achasan/Yongmasan(295m)

   It can be hiked lightly, so many Seoulites visit it. It is close to Lotte Tower, so you can see Lotte Tower well. Best to go at sunrise/sunset. This is a good night climbing course for beginners.

4. Inwangsan(338m)

   

   Likewise, it is famous for being a mountain in Seoul. The sunset looks pretty. A lot of rocks. Cons: Parking is inconvenient. You must use public transportation.

   

5. Night hiking spot in south Korea -Manisan(472m)

   It is located in Incheon and Ganghwa Island. The night scenery is very nice, and it is very good to go when the sun goes down. It takes a long time for a night hike. A flashlight is essential. There is an advantage to meeting fireflies. Originally, there is an entrance fee to Manisan, but if you go at night, there is no admission fee. (highly recommended) But I can’t go there without a car. The downside is poor accessibility.The end!!In Korea, mountaineering children who like mountain climbing and beginners in mountain climbing are called deungrin.
