Monterrey la estanzuela national park(Visit cielo falls)

La estanzuela Park is the place with the most trees among all the places I’ve been to in Monterrey, Mexico.
The sun was hot, but there were so many trees that it blocked out a lot of the sun.
I went there with my co-workers.
During my business trip to Mexico, I went from home to work to home and overwork(?), so my physical strength weakened a lot.
Maybe that’s why it was much more difficult than Cerro del silla, which I went to before.
[Monterrey la estanzuela national park, operating hours]
Access to the waterfall is from 07:00 to 13:00. If your goal is to visit a waterfall,
It is best to complete maintenance by 06:50 so that you can depart at 07:00.
[Monterrey la estanzuela national park, location]
The location is closer to San Pedro. If you move early in the morning, it seems to take about 40 minutes from near Apodaca.
The exact location is as follows. It can accommodate about 20 cars.
Since the operating time is 07:00, it is best to go early. We arrived around 08:00.
There were hardly any seats. The sun at 8 o’clock is also hot.
Address : Camino, Antiguo Camino a Valle Alto S/N, La Estanzuela, 64780 Monterrey, N.L.

[Monterrey la estanzuela national park, tips]
The entrance fee is 60 pesos, cash. It’s in a place that’s hard to get to without a car.
I left early in the morning and took two bottles of water with me.
I was underprepared because I didn’t know the difficulty or length until I started.
I was amazed at the Mexican people who did not take any water with them.
Because the sun is very hot, sunscreen and hiking boots are essential.
I think it would be a good idea to bring 3 bottles of water.
It was really hard because I ran out of sugar, so it’s a good idea to bring some food along the way.
The most difficult thing was the hot sun.
There are mosquitoes, snakes, and many animals, so it is best to apply insect repellent before going.
[Monterrey la estanzuela national park, hiking difficulty]
The difficulty of hiking will vary depending on your physical strength, but it should not be viewed lightly as a trail.
Personally, it felt like going from the Bukhansanseong Fortress Exploration Center to Baekundae/climbing Mt. Suraksan. (I had introduced Korean mountain before in another post)
Although it is not a trip to the top of the peak, the level of difficulty is quite high.
There were many places with high slopes, and there were also slopes that felt like climbing a five-colored course.
It took me 4 hours. The signs are a bit generous, but even if you take your time and take a break, you can still go there.
I think it takes about 4 hours. People who are good at mountain climbing can make a round trip in 3 to 3.5 hours.
Because my stamina was low, it was harder than the previous cerro de la silla.
We highly recommend wearing hiking shoes.
This national park was created in the early 1900s, and despite its deep history, it does not seem to be well prepared.
Compared to our country’s national parks, preparations are very inadequate. Do not repair slippery or imperfect parts at all.
there is. The role of national park agents is to simply sit down and check whether people are wearing the bracelets that are given to them when they pay the entrance fee.
There are no restrooms or guidance in the middle. The road is also quite slippery and dangerous.
In our country, we are good at installing iron bars or other structures in dangerous sections, but here in the national park, we had something like rope to hold on to, but it didn’t feel <safe>.
In particular, paved roads are much more slippery and dangerous than unpaved roads. Looks like it needs a lot of repairs.
[Monterrey la estanzuela national park, visiting point]
Every time you go up, you will see waterfalls one by one.
The journey of comparing waterfalls and finding your favorite waterfall is fun.
There are many butterflies of various colors in the middle.
You can also see the water general. General Mul… In Korea, you can only see it in museums.
There were so many people at Cielo Falls… It was amazing, but also very disgusting.
It was interesting to see that among the stones that were stepped on by the soles of one’s feet were transparent stones. (slippery)
It’s perfect for hiking in the morning and then going for lunch.
